Turkey gangs kidnap 12 civilians in rural Girê Spi

The mercenaries of the Turkish occupation have kidnapped 12 citizens from the southern countryside of the occupied Girê Spi canton, including young people under the age of 16.

A local source from the countryside of the occupied Girê Spî canton reported that the mercenaries of the so-called military police of the Turkish occupation, Tuesday, raided the town of Turkmen, 17 km south of the occupied canton, and kidnapped 12 citizens of the village.

The source pointed out that among the kidnapped were two young men under the age of 16, namely the two brothers Uday and Marwan Muhammad.

According to the source, the abductees were transferred to the so-called anti-terrorism branch in the occupied canton.

The kidnappings and the demand for ransom later for their release is one of the means of getting money that the mercenaries have adopted in the occupied Girê Spî canton since 2019.

Where ANHA's agency documented, through its sources, that the mercenary Abu Rabi` al-Idlibi, a leader in the Anti-Terrorism Branch, charged $1,000 for the release of each kidnapped person.
