Internal Security Forces arrested leader of ISIS mercenaries in Deir al-Zor

Today, the Internal Security Forces issued a statement that reads:

"With a successful security operation, our Special Forces “H.A.T” at dawn on Monday, July 31, arrested one of the Emirs of ISIS terrorist cells, north of Deir al-Zor.

Within the successful operations of our security forces in striking the cells of terrorist organizations and arresting them, after following up and monitoring their movements accurately to determine their location by the Internal Security Forces and with the support of the International Coalition, our special forces carried out a successful operation with carefully studied steps in raiding the den of an ISIS emir who is responsible for financing the members of the terrorist organization with money in order to implement their terrorist plans to target our areas, as he was arrested and his weapons and communication devices were seized.

Our forces assure our people that they will continue to pursue the remnants of terrorists who are trying to tamper with the security and safety of our regions".

The units of the Internal Security Forces dismantled an explosive device in an abandoned house in the city of Hasaka".
