Today, Sunday, a local source told Roj news agency that warplanes of the Turkish occupation state bombed villages east of Dohuk Governorate in Southern Kurdistan.

He confirmed that: "Warplanes belonging to the occupying Turkish state bombed this afternoon twice the vicinity of the villages (Merceda, Bir and Basfra), which belong to Atrush district, north of Sheikhan district in Dohuk governorate."

The Turkish bombardment led to the outbreak of fires in the forests and farms of the region, and caused great losses to the property of the people of the region.

Since July 21, the Turkish occupation army has been launching intense attacks against the defense areas of Mediya in Zap and Avashin, and the People's Defense Forces confirmed that the Turkish occupation army is using the bases of the Kurdistan Democratic Party to launch attacks against their forces.
