2d conference of HPC JIN concluded  in Hasaka

The Women's Community Protection Forces (HPC JIN) held its second conference, in the city of Hasaka, under the slogan "With the spirit of the guerrillas, Hadia, Yusra, and Jian, we will strengthen the revolutionary people's war, destroy isolation, and guarantee victory," in the presence of representatives of the Women's Protection Units YPJ and women's bodies in the Autonomous Administration.

1,600 delegates from the Women's Community Protection Forces in NE Syria participated in the second conference.

The conference activities opened with a speech by the member of the General Command of the YPJ Women's Protection Units, Rohlat Afrin.

Rohlat Afrin, recalled the martyrs of July 19, adding, "The Community Protection Forces - Women, were a basic force in protection since the spark of the Rojava revolution, and they were effective in this revolution."

She pointed out, "through this conference, we confirm on standing in the face of attacks and threats that affect the region, and we have seen this in the past years through the martyrdom of many comrades affiliated under the banner of the Community Protection Forces in order to protect the region."

Rohlat Afrin, confirmed in the context of her speech, saying, "We, as daughters of those women who were martyred in order to protect this region and the land, will follow their path until their goals and hopes are achieved."

After that, she read the directives of the leader Abdullah Ocalan, through which he touched on self-protection and the protection of women for themselves, and how to reorganize themselves and overcome all obstacles facing the community seeking freedom and peace.

After finishing reading the directives, several speeches delivered, including the speech of the Democratic Society Movement TEV-DEM, by the co-chair, Roken Ahmed, who recalled all the martyrs of the revolution, and added: “These comrades whose pictures hung behind us were martyred for the sake of this land and its gains, and the comrades know very well that in 2018 The Turkish occupation state attacked the city of Afrin, and in order to stop these attacks, comrade Fatima and Daika Hoger were martyred.

Roken Ahmed explained: "Everyone must be loyal to revolution, truth, and martyrs, and the gains that have been achieved, and we must follow in their footsteps to deter all threats and attacks that target our regions."

The member of the Kongra Star Coordinators in NE Syria, Walida Bouti, delivered a speech congratulating the convening of the conference, and added: "We are going through a difficult and sensitive stage in which the enemy is trying by various means to harm us, by tightening the isolation of the leader Ocalan and continuing the attacks against our regions, so we must as revolutionaries and organize ourselves to break the isolation imposed on leader Ocalan and protect our regions."

She added, "Our martyrs entrusted us with a great trust, so we as women must be aware of the sensitivity of this stage, and we must organize ourselves according to the directives of leader Ocalan to achieve the goals of the revolution, and to recover our history that they obliterated.

After the speeches ended, the organizational situation and the report of the past two years of the Community Protection Forces - Women in North and East Syria was read.

The conference ended with a number of outputs and decisions on the importance of organizing and activating the essential protection for women.
