TEV DEM congratulates NE Syria people on anniversary of July 19 revolution

The Democratic Society Movement issued a written statement in conjunction with the eleventh anniversary of the July 19 Revolution, in which it reads:

"With the advent of the eleventh anniversary of the July 19 revolution, and in the spirit of the core values of the July 19 revolution, we extend our congratulations to all our Kurdish people and all components in NE Syria, all the families of the martyrs, the wounded comrades, and all the fighters of the revolution.

With the launch of the July 19 revolution in the city of Kobani 2012, the aspirations and hopes of our people and all peoples in the region were fulfilled. And it proved that it is a revolution based on contemporary revolutionary standards and principles and different from the rest of the previous classical revolutions, taking the brotherhood of peoples and coexistence as the basis for building a true democratic social liberation revolution.

The July 19 revolution created a new and important experience in the region for change and democratic transformation, as it became an power and is still waging an important struggle in many fields and made many sacrifices in defense of humanity in the most difficult circumstances. It was attacked by extremist forces, led by the terrorist organization ISIS, as well as the target of many conspiratorial schemes from international and regional powers, led by the Turkish occupation state, and attempts to strike the revolutionary societal structure, change its course, and strike the unity and strength of cohesive peoples.

The July 19 Revolution has become a democratic societal incubator for all moral cultures with free and true will and its correct choices for the third-line policy strategy represented in the project of the ethical, social, political and democratic solution, and the emergence of the role of women and youth in the forefront of the peoples’ Spring Revolution, which led to the creation of a practical ground and a driving power towards stability and solution. democracy through a real national dialogue in Syria and the region. Therefore, looking at this contemporary historical achievement with an eye of disregard cannot serve the future of the solution in Syria despite the holding of many international conferences, platforms and summits, such as Geneva, the Astana Group and others. All their attempts have been politically unsuccessful and unresolved as a result of the exclusion of the will of our people, and the project of a democratic solution in NE Syria, this practically indicates the strength of the solution that exists in NE Syria, and therefore openness to it will be important, especially in the context of the initiative put forward by the Democratic Autonomous Administration with a true national structure, which is considered one of the most important projects for a democratic solution compared to all the solutions proposed by all the concerned countries regarding Syria who are puting their interests above the interests of the entire Syrian people.

The July 19 Revolution had a great impact on the consciences of societies in the region and the world with its morals, human values, principles and modern revolutionary standards that are far from power and control.

But the Turkish fascist state takes revenge on the culture and philosophy of this revolution politically, militarily, and security, and exploits the international circumstances to strike the will of the revolution with all its power and dirty political capabilities, and imposes all forms of illegal isolation with the aim of taking revenge on the will of the people in the person and will of the leader Abdullah Ocalan, and it still practices the worst kinds extermination policies against the leader Abdullah Ocalan to exclude him from his participation with public opinion and the resistance and struggling peoples, because leader Apo has another opinion, and his participation in expressing his opinion is very important for this fateful stage, but the Turkish occupation state and the conspiring countries impose abstraction and slow death through poisoned messages, and this is what worries us and the societies that see their freedom with the freedom of leader Abdullah Ocalan, so the fate of leader Apo's life is very important for everyone, and everyone must act with moral responsibility regarding the situation of leader Abdullah Ocalan, especially the European Committee for the Prevention of Torture, which evaded its moral responsibilities.

We at the Democratic Society Movement (TEV-DEM) congratulate the achievements and gains of the July 19 revolution, which were achieved thanks to the great sacrifices, and the historical legacy that extends back to decades of struggle and historical resistance.

We also call on the peoples of the region to assume moral responsibility towards the policies of extermination that stare at the life of the leader Abdullah Ocalan, and towards the sensitivity of the stage, to organize themselves on the legacy of the revolutionary people's war, and to join the solidarity campaigns to protect the life of Leader Apo.
