The Kurdistan Democratic Party continues its treasonous approach and upholding the status of the Turkish occupation state against the Kurdish people in the four parts, and this is what we have witnessed over and over again in many schemes in Bakur, Başûr and Rojava, the most prominent of which is the establishment of the occupation's feet in the occupied Afrin canton.

In addition to the policies pursued by the Turkish occupation against the people of Afrin canton, represented by a plan of ethnic genocide against them, through killing, looting and kidnapping, the occupation is working through the Kurdistan Democratic Party to establish its social foothold.

The occupation has harnessed the Kurdistan Democratic Party, the so-called Kurdish National Council (ENKS), since the outbreak of the Syrian crisis for its benefit, and this is what was seen when it occupied Afrin canton on March 18, 2018, and how the members of the National Council received the Turkish occupation forces in occupied Afrin, and spread the carpets Red them on the blood of the people of the canton to hand it over to them.

The tools of the Turkish occupation began its work immediately, and perhaps the most prominent of these actions is the formation of councils by the National Council in all the districts and center of Afrin canton, to serve the interests of the Turkish occupation at the expense of the blood of the people in the canton, and it also promoted that the occupation came to liberate the region from "terrorism", who are its sons They defended it, and later it promoted the return of the displaced to Afrin under the Turkish occupation.

In November 2020, Abdullah Kado, an official of the Kurdish National Council, visited the occupied Afrin canton, and went towards the graves of the mercenaries who were killed during their invasion of the canton. They were also received by the mercenary leaders, the most prominent of whom was the criminal Hatem Abu Shaqra, who committed crimes against the people in the regions occupied.

And with the occurrence of the earthquake that struck the region on the sixth of last February, the Kurdistan Democratic Party sent the Barzani Charitable Foundation, under the pretext of providing humanitarian aid to the affected people, but it was a message to accept the occupation of Turkey and its mercenaries of the Afrin canton, for the foundation to hasten to open an office in the city of Afrin, specifically on the 19th. Last February, after the Turkish occupation allowed the Foundation’s humanitarian aid convoys to enter Janders district.

The Foundation provided aid to the committees that were formed by the Janders district council and the city of Afrin, to be stolen by mercenaries, and sold to those affected by the earthquake at exorbitant prices, amounting to one hundred dollars per basket.

With the facilitation of the Turkish occupation, after several months, the Foundation expanded its business and opened another office in Janders district, in addition to continuing to provide some assistance to improve the image of the occupation.

The Barzani Foundation for Development and Culture opened a cultural center in Afrin canton, under the pretext of supporting those affected by the earthquake, noting that it seeks to expand its borders by opening several offices in the districts of Raju, Shara and Mabata.

Afrin canton is witnessing security chaos, kidnappings and killings without supervision or accountability, by orders of the intelligence of the Turkish occupation state to intimidate the people and displace them.
