Asia Abdullah calls on women to strengthen their defensive systems

The co-chair of the Democratic Union Party, Asia Abdullah, called on all women to strengthen their defense system, to thwart all the treaties concluded against them, stressing that the Autonomous Administration treaty was manifested by the struggle of women in North and East Syria.

The speech of the co-chair of the Democratic Union Party, Asia Abdullah, came during her intervention at the forum held on the massacres in Mesopotamia and their impact on women, under the slogan "With the strength and solidarity of women, we will defeat the policy of division and the genocide of Lausanne against the peoples" in the city of Hasakah.

Asia Abdullah touched on the importance of women strengthening their defense system, and said: "The force that can confront the treaties concluded against the peoples of the Middle East will be achieved by escalating the struggle of women," noting that Kurdistan witnessed many resistances; However, after the seventies, women strengthened their defense system against attacks, and this resistance reached its peak.

She emphasized that "through the struggle of these women, we were able to gather with each other and become leaders, whether on the battle fronts or in society, under the slogan "Jin, Jiyan, Azadî (Women, Life, Freedom)".

Asia Abdullah also confirmed, "We, the women's organisations, can build our system. Knowing how to protect ourselves is very important at this stage we are going through," explaining, "If women in Şengal are unable to protect themselves, they will begin."

She added that the development of the July 19th Revolution in Rojava and North and East Syria, which was called the women's revolution, came as a result of the efforts of women who fought against the ISIS occupation, so "strengthening the defense system is very important, for a bright future."

The co-chair of the Democratic Union Party, Asia Abdullah, explained, "We are facing a fierce war by the Turkish occupation, so it requires us in this forum to confront all its attacks."

She said, "In the person of the two martyrs, Yousra and Rayhan, agreement and community organization are required of us, and the defense system is strengthened in all areas of life, in order to thwart all agreements and treaties," and that "we write down our treaty with our own hands, and an example of that is the Treaty of Autonomous Administration, which we wrote ourselves and wrote our history with our own hands."
