Dêrik's youth demonstrate for leader physical freedom

Hundreds of members of the Syrian Revolutionary Youth Movement and the Young Women's Union staged a demonstration in the city of Dêrik in Qamishlo canton, condemning the threats against the leader Ocalan and demanding his physical freedom.

Popular discontent is rising day by day, denouncing the policies of isolation and torture against the leader Ocalan, in this context, the Syrian Revolutionary Youth Movement and the Young Women's Union in the city of Dêrik organized, yesterday evening, a demonstration, which started in front of the People's Court.

The night demonstration took place in the streets of Dêrik neighborhoods, amid raising pictures of the leader Ocalan and chanting the slogan "There is no life without the leader."

When the demonstrators arrived at the Martyr Hawar building of the Syrian Revolutionary Youth Movement in Dêrik, they observed a minute of silence in honor of the souls of the martyrs.

Then the administrator of the Syrian Revolutionary Youth Movement Hoger Haji, delivered a speech in which he denounced the threats against the leader by saying "We will rally around the thought and philosophy of the leader and escalate the struggle exponentially. We will remain in the squares 24 hours until our demand for the physical freedom of the leader Abdullah Ocalan is fulfilled." .

The demonstration ended with chants saluting the leader's resistance.
