Health institutions: We have fears of repeated poisoning of leader Ocalan

The Health Body and the Doctors Union in Jazera region made a joint statement regarding the situation of the leader Abdullah Ocalan, and it was read in front of the building of the Health Body in Jazera region, which is located in the city of Qamishlo, in the presence of medical personnel and staff.

The statement was read by the commission's deputies in Arabic, Hadiya Abdullah, and Kurdish, Youssef Ahmed.

The statement shed light on the strict isolation imposed on the leader Abdullah Ocalan and asked about his health condition, pointing to the arrest of the leader Ocalan under difficult conditions in Imrali prison 24 years ago and the absence of any information about him for 28 months.

It pointed out that the Turkish occupation state violated human rights by trying to prevent the arrival of any information about the leader, saying: "International laws stipulate that the right to life and the right to enjoy good health are among the most important rights, but according to information also circulated by the media, the leader Ocalan suffers from conditions Inhumane and threatened with poisoning, which means that his health is in great danger.”

The statement indicated that it was proven, in the past, and during the analysis of a sample of the leader’s hair, that there were signs of poisoning, and he continued by saying: “We fear that the poisoning incident has occurred again. .

The statement appealed to international health institutions and bodies, all doctors who enjoy professional ethics and principles, and all human rights organizations, and called on them to take a stand against the brutality of the Turkish occupation state.
