​​​​​​​The Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons has ignored the arsenal of chemical weapons owned by the Turkish occupation state, as a result of which dozens of Guerillas were martyred.

In a statement, the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons claimed that the last chemical weapons stockpile declared by all participating countries to the Chemical Weapons Convention had been deemed destroyed.

This statement of the organization ignores the thousands of attacks with chemical weapons and suffocating and poisonous gases launched by the Turkish occupation state, on the defense areas of Media in Başûr (southern Kurdistan) to expand its occupation circle and complete the policy of extermination against the peoples of Kurdistan, in which dozens were martyred, not to mention the damage it causes.

Earlier, the International Physicians Association for the Prevention of Nuclear War (IPPNW) prepared a report on the use of chemical weapons by the Turkish occupation state in its attacks, and said: "Evidence has been obtained," and called for an investigation to be launched, as demanded by the Iraqi parliamentarian, Soran Omar, the government of Muhammad Shia al-Sudani, forming a committee to investigate the occupation government's use of chemical weapons against the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) in southern Kurdistan.

 The leadership of the People's Defense Forces and the Kurdistan Community Organizations sent dozens of invitations to the institutions concerned with investigating the Turkish chemical attacks. However, Iraq, Western countries, and the institutions concerned remained inaction about this file.
