Call from the Arab clans to unify efforts to stop the Turkish attacks

The Turkish occupation state continues to launch its attacks on North and East Syria, committing massacres against the people of the region, amidst the continued international silence and human rights organizations regarding the extermination approach of the Turkish occupation state towards the people of the region.

The sheikh of the Albu Assaf clan in Raqqa, Hamad al-Qaraja, explained to our agency: "Turkey has ambitions in the region, and it dreams of restoring the Ottoman Empire, and is trying to usurp the Syrian lands."

Hamad Al-Qaraja affirmed, "Turkey has occupied the region for 400 years, and it is a hostile country to the region, and we, the sheikhs and notables of the clans in North and East Syria, will confront this hostility with firmness and will defend the region."

Hamad Al-Qaraja criticized the international powers for their continued silence towards the Turkish attacks on North and East Syria, and added: "We have brothers from our clans, whether on the Turkish side or in the occupied Syrian territories, and they are our people. Our clans in Syria and Turkey must be one hand against the Turkish occupation state, and we must to defend together our lands and our people.”

In his turn, the sheikh of the al-Ali clan, Ramadan al-Rahal, said: "We, the sheikhs and notables of the clans in the region, condemn and denounce the Turkish attacks on our regions, and we will continue to resist in the face of the Turkish occupier."

Ramadan Al-Rahal sent a message to the Syrian clans and said: "We send a message from the clan elders in Syria in general and NE Syria in particular, and to the Turkish army and Turkish forces; stop killing the Syrian people, stop shedding the blood of the Syrians."

Al-Rahal addressed the Turkish occupation state, saying: "We, the sheikhs and notables of the clans, address the Turkish army and the Turkish forces that you must show human morals and international norms and stop killing defenseless people."

Al-Rahal explained, "The people who live on this soil are the Syrian people, and when I say Syrian soil, it is from the borders of Iraq to the borders of the Mediterranean Sea, and from the borders of Jordan to the borders of Turkey, and it is sacred to every Syrian."

Al-Rahal concluded his speech by saying: "I am confident that our people and sheikhs do not accept the abandonment of a single grain of soil for the Turkish occupation, and we must stand together in the face of the Turkish occupier."
