Today, the Media Center of the People's Defense Forces (HPG) issued a written statement, translated by Firat News Agency, which reads:

Our mobile teams in the Free Women Units - Star carried out several operations in Zap and Khakurk, in commemoration of the commando operation carried out by the martyr Zilan on June 30, which is considered the Day of Sacrifice.

The information about Guerrilla operations and the attacks of the Turkish occupation army is as follows:

 “West Zap region for the martyr Dalil

On June 29, at 10:30, our mobile teams targeted, through sniping, the radar system of the Turkish occupation army in the Resistance Square in FM Hill, which resulted in its complete destruction, and when the occupation soldiers entered the movement, our mobile teams bombed them with heavy weapons.

On June 30, at 07:00, our mobile teams of the Free Women Units - Star targeted with heavy weapons the Turkish occupation soldiers in the Resistance Square in FM Hill, and at 08:30 our mobile teams of the Free Women Units - Star targeted a site for Obis cannons belonging to the Turkish occupation army in Resistance Square.

Khakurk District

On the 29th of June, at 10:50, our mobile teams in the Free Women Units - Star targeted the Turkish occupation site with heavy weapons in the Kurdinah hill square, and it was completely destroyed, and a Turkish soldier was killed and four others were wounded.

And at 19:20 on the same date, our mobile teams in the Free Women Units - Star targeted with heavy weapons a site for the soldiers of the Turkish occupation army in the square of Martyr Axin Hill.

Attacks of the Turkish occupation army

On June 29, the warplanes of the Turkish occupation state bombed 9 times Martyr Dalil Square in western Zap, once the Resistance Square in Hakkari Hill in the Bamtina region, and twice the squares of the villages of Jamrobotki and Khairy, and the squares of Senin and Ava Lulan Bakhkurk twice, for a total of 14 times.

On the same date, the Turkish occupation army bombed the resistance squares in Bahar Hill, Judy Hill, and the FM Hill in Amadiya in the western Zap region of the martyr Dalil, and the resistance squares in Hakkari Hill, the village of Shiladze, Kolka, and Gari Metîna in the Metîna region, and the squares of Jal, Jar, Kolet hill, and Shaqif hill in Khakurk 336 times with guns, tanks and heavy weapons.

On the 29th and 30th of June, the Turkish occupation army attacked our points in the Resistance Square in Sayida, in the Zap region, and tried to destroy our trenches with bulldozers.
