Putin's envoy: Syria, Turkey and Iran have agreed to Russian "road map"

The Russian President's special envoy to Syria revealed that (Syria, Turkey and Iran) had agreed on the formula of the Russian "road map", while sources familiar with the course of negotiations told a Russian newspaper that there is no agreement on the Russian road map yet.

The Special Envoy of the Russian President for the Syrian settlement, Alexander Lavrentiev, announced that (Syria, Turkey and Iran) had agreed on the formula of the "road map" prepared by Russia for the urgent normalization of relations between Damascus and Ankara, according to a Russian agency.

Alexander Lavrentiev said, "All parties generally agreed on the formula of the road map to advance the normalization process, and expressed their views and proposals, and now coordination must be made to implement this map."

He added that this process will take some time, stressing that "the most important thing is that the normalization process is moving forward. It should not be procrastinated, and everyone agrees on that."

However, sources familiar with the course of the negotiations told the Russian newspaper Kommersant, there is no agreement on the roadmap yet.
