Masrour Barzani meets Erdogan

Today, the Prime Minister of Başûr (Southern Kurdistan), Masrour Barzani, arrived in the Turkish capital, Ankara, on an official visit, where he met Erdogan, the new Turkish Foreign Minister and former intelligence chief, Hakan Fidan.

This visit of Barzani to Ankara comes at a time when the occupying Turkish state is targeting, on a daily basis, various areas in the geography of Kurdistan, in addition to the terrorist operations carried out by the Turkish intelligence "MIT" against the Kurdish patriots and politicians in the regions of Başûr Kurdistan.

Also today, a Turkish occupation drone targeted a car on the Qamishlo- Tirbespiyê road in Rojava, which was carrying the co-chair of the Qamishlo Canton Council, Yusra Darwish, and the co-chairmanship of the council, Lyman Shweish, and their driver, Furat Toma, which led to their martyrdom.

Barzani's visit to Ankara also comes after a meeting on Monday between a Turkish technical delegation from the energy sector and Iraqi officials in Baghdad without reaching a final understanding on the resumption of oil exports from Başûr through the Turkish port of Ceyhan.

Regarding the meeting between Masrour, Erdogan and Hakan Fidan, media outlets said that it took place behind closed doors, without knowing its details.
