HPG kills 5 Turkish soldiers in Botan

The Media Center of the People's Defense Forces (HPG) confirmed the killing of 5 occupation soldiers, and revealed the outcome of the Turkish occupation army's attacks on the media defense areas. It stated: "The Turkish occupation army is destroying nature in Northern Kurdistan by cutting down trees, in addition to bombing our forces in legitimate defense areas, in this context, our forces responded with a strong operation against the occupiers, who had launched a military operation in the Busta area in Botan, killing 5 Turkish soldiers.

Detailed information about the operations of the Guerrilla forces and the attacks of the Turkish occupation army is as follows:

In the last two years, the Turkish occupation state has cut down trees, cleared forests, and destroyed nature in this way, as it commits a major crime against humanity by plundering the geography of Kurdistan. In the Kisen hill of the Busta region in Botan, the occupation soldiers plundered nature by cutting trees and began launching a military operation. In turn, our forces tightened control over the occupation and penetrated the ranks of the enemy forces on June 7. The strikes were directed at the enemy in a coordinated manner from three sides, and the strikes were directed at the occupation soldiers with individual weapons from a close location, which resulted in the killing of 5 occupation soldiers, as well as wounding many of them. The Turkish army admitted of killing only a soldier.

This operation was carried out in the person of the brave leader Layla Surkhin, and to avenge the comrades of our path,  Bawar Rejenberger, Dilshir and Shekar, who were martyred in the recent attacks of the enemy in Busta.

Attacks of Turkish occupation army:

On June 8, the occupiers, who received severe blows, launched a large-scale military operation and intensively bombed the operation using warplanes and helicopters. The area was bombed at exactly 01:00 after midnight with warplanes 4 times, and we did not suffer any losses in this operation.

On June 10, our trenches located in the Resistance Square in  FM Hill, in the western Zap region of the martyr Dalil were bombed once with banned bombs.

On June 9, the areas of Serêyet Matina and the village of Bishila, which is affiliated with the Matina region, were bombed twice by warplanes.

On June 10, the resistance squares in Hills of  FM, Amadiyah, and Judi, which belong to the western Zap region were bombed 93 times with artillery shells, tanks, and heavy weapons.

On June 10, the Turkish occupation army launched an attack on our trenches in FM Hill and tried to destroy them with bulldozers.
