​​​​​​​Leader Abdullah Ocalan' lawyers  submit new request to meet their client

​​​​​​​Lawyers of Al-Asr Human Rights Office submitted a new request to the Public Prosecution Office in Bursa and the Imrali Prison Directorate, to meet with their client, leader Abdullah Ocalan.

The lawyers of Al-Asr Human Rights Office, Ibrahim Bilmez, Radiya Ozturk, Omran Amekji, and Cengiz Yurkali, went to the Public Prosecution Office in Bursa and the Imrali Prison Directorate, in order to meet with their client, the leader Abdullah Ocalan, about whom no information has been received for 2 years, as well as the other Imrali detainees. Omer Khairi Konar, Hamili Yildirim, and Wesi Aktaş.

In a statement issued on March 2, the Human Rights Office of Al-Asr stated, "Despite all the reviews and attempts of lawyers and families, we are unable to obtain any information about the health status of our client Abdullah Ocalan and our 3 other clients in Imrali prison. This situation worries us and the entire community".

Leader Abdullah Ocalan has been detained for more than 24 years in Imrali prison, following an international conspiracy carried out by international and regional powers, in the Kenyan capital, Nairobi.
