SOHR said that Israeli missiles were fired on two batches on a base of the Damascus's Airforce Defence holding militias of Lebanese Hezbollah in Hafir Al-Foka area in Rif Dimashq, Al-Hama area and the area of Damascus International Airport. .

SOHR added that a missile of the Syrian Airforce Defence hit the area near Garage Masakin Raas Al-Naba’a.

The Observatory pointed out that ambulances rushed to the targeted places to transport the wounded.

For its part, an agency affiliated with the Damascus government reported that after midnight on Sunday, missiles targeted sites in southwest Damascus, causing material damage.

 The agency quoted a police source as saying that no casualties have been reported yet.

The agency quoted a military source as saying, "The Israeli enemy carried out an air aggression from the direction of the occupied Syrian Golan, targeting some points in the vicinity of Damascus," adding: "Our air defenses intercepted the aggression's missiles, and shot down some of them."

During the past years, Israel launched hundreds of air strikes in Syria, targeting sites of the Damascus army, Iranian targets, and others of the Lebanese Hezbollah, including weapons and ammunition depots in separate areas.
