HPG kills 13 Turkish soldiers

HPG issued a written statement to the public opinion, in which it confirmed that its fighters had dealt painful blows to the convoy of the Turkish occupation army, which left in the countryside of Liji district in the Amed region of Bakur Kurdistan to carry out a military operation.

The statement read:

"The Turkish occupation army has been trying to occupy the hill located in the Martyr Sarkhbun area in the district of Liji in the Amadiya region and station there, since the beginning of the winter season. attempts.

In the same area, on April 30, at 20:15, our Guerrilla forces targeted a military convoy of the Turkish aggression between the villages of Merk and Severk, as it was leaving to carry out a military operation. The targeting resulted in the destruction of a military vehicle and the killing of 13 Turkish soldiers.

The Turkish occupation operations continued in the region until the fifth of May and ended without achieving any results.

  On May 10, the Turkish occupation army began its military operation in the same area, and our comrades Dilkesh Zagros and Bauer Korkmaz were martyred as a result of the Turkish occupation attacks.

The Turkish occupation army, which attacked Resistance Square in FM Hill, on May 16 at 14:20, collided with the resistance of our self-defending Guerrilla forces.

The Turkish aggression army, which attacked the Resistance Square in Hakkari Hill, on May 18 at 14:20, faced great resistance by Guerrilla forces.

On May 17, warplanes of the Turkish occupation army bombed Bahar Hill, Judy Hill, FM Hill, the resistance squares in Amadiya Hill, the vicinity of Sigra village and Wadi Kafia Square, 22 times.

  On the 16th, 17th, and 18th of May, the resistance trenches in the Resistance Square at FM Hill and Judy Hill, in addition to the martyr Haqi hill, the martyr Kamiran hill, the martyr Heyman hill, the areas of Çal and Çar, and the vicinity of the Lulan and Sida river located in the Khakurk region, were bombed by Turkish army  with cannons, tanks and chemical weapons 37 times.

  On May 17, helicopters of the Turkish occupation army bombed the vicinity of Muzlan hill, Kordineh, Stuna, Sarzir, and the village of Tarvanish, located in the Metina region, 7 times.
