The Iranian Ministry of Justice announced the execution of 3 people accused of being involved in the killing of security personnel during the Gina Amini uprising on May 19.

It turned out that the Iranian state had sentenced Majid Kazemi, Saleh Mir Hashemi and Saeed Yaqubi to death by hanging, under the pretext of their participation in the Isfahan demonstration, possession of weapons, and their participation in "fighting against God."

The three people who were arrested in November were sentenced in January, as the Iranian judiciary accuses these three people of killing three members of the Iranian security forces.

According to Amnesty International's 2022 report on executions, Iran ranks second after China, as the number of executions in Iran reached 314 in 2021, and in 2022 to 576 people.
