Bayik: People of Kurdistan will vote for leftist Green Party

ANF News Agency conducted an interview with the Co-Chair of the Executive Council of the Kurdistan Community Union (KCK) Jamil Bayik to talk about the elections that will be held in Turkey and Bakur (Northern Kurdistan) on the 14th of May.

According to the agency, the text of the dialogue as follows:

* There are many discussions about the leader Ocalan, but the strict isolation against him continues. What do you say about these discussions and this isolation...?

" Leader Apo is the leader of the Kurdish people and humanity. Those who discuss Leader Apo must take this thing into consideration and discuss in this way. If this is not done, then this is unacceptable. The leader lives in strict isolation, this is a great injustice. If they are arguing about the leader, they should give the leader Apo the opportunity for dialogue, they do not give these opportunities, and on the other hand, they say these things through the words of leader, and they do these things in order for them to win the elections, the government of justice and development and the nationalist movement in particular are doing this, they are trying to end the influence of leader on the Kurdish and Turkish people, the democratic forces, freedom, women and youth, and winning the elections in this way, nothing worse more than that, let those know we do not accept this situation.

Through these discussions, they cannot weaken leader or diminish his influence, our people and the peoples in Turkey, the democratic and freedom forces, women and youth know the truth of leader very well.

Leader Ocalan put his life at the service of the people and he considers himself responsible for the Kurdish people,and all humanity.

He carries out this responsibility under very difficult conditions and extreme isolation. He wants Turkey to be liberated from fascism and become democratic. He fights for all peoples in Turkey to live freely, speak their language and practice their culture.

The government of Justice and Development and the National Movement do not want to solve the problems in Turkey, they link their fate to the war and want to protect their strength through war, to become a cause of the destruction of cities, and the reason for not resolving the Kurdish issue and other issues in Turkey, because AKP is hostile to democracy and peoples, it sees everyone who does not work for it as its enemy, it seeks to eliminate them all, and therefore it resorts to war, torture and arrests.

It can no longer deceive anyone. They used to deceive before. They hostiled leader, the Kurdish people, the PKK, the Alawite people and women. In this way they deceived some, but today its real face is appeared, and they still continue their hostility, but in this way they end themselves. If the government of justice and development and the nationalist movement today is about to collapse and the political balances in Turkey change, this is thanks to the example of leader and his struggle, Now the Kurdish people and their friends, who demand democracy, freedom, women and youth, demand the physical freedom of Leader Apo and want to achieve this as soon as possible.

Political powers and international human rights organizations must not help the Turkish state and implement its laws. They must serve democracy. They must act in accordance with the laws and standards they call for. Of course we understand that the Turkish state is a member of NATO, but these forces should not help Turkey without limits. It must understand the demands of the Kurdish people and humanity and carry out its responsibilities accordingly.
