Leader Ocalan's lawyers submit a new request to meet their client

The lawyers for the leader Abdullah Ocalan submitted a request to the Republican Public Prosecutor and to Imrali Prison in Turkey, in order to meet with their client.

Once again, the lawyers of the leader Abdullah Ocalan, Ibrahim Bilmes, Newroz Uysal, Mazlum Deng and Cengir Yurkali, sent a request to the Republican Public Prosecutor's Office in the Turkish city of Bursa and the Imrali Prison Directorate in order to meet with their client. ‏

The lawyers have not been able to meet their client, leader Abdullah Ocalan, for more than two years.

The lawyers also submitted a request to the Public Prosecution Office and the Prison Directorate on behalf of Ömer Khairi Konar, Hamili Yıldırım and Vey Aktaş, who are also detained in Imrali.

The Turkish authorities impose strict isolation on the leader Abdullah Ocalan, who has been detained in Imrali Island prison since February 15, 1999, following an international conspiracy that led to his abduction in the Kenyan capital, Nairobi, and his handover to the Turkish authorities.
