​​​​​​KCK: May 14 is very important for the struggle for freedom - democracy

The Peoples and Beliefs Committee of the Kurdistan Community Union (KCK), to Firat news agency (ANF), evaluated the May 14 elections in Bakur (Northern Kurdistan) and Turkey.

The committee pointed out that these elections are important, and drew attention to the suppression of Erdogan's ruling authority, for 20 years, against the Kurds, women, and hard workers, and made it clear that those who created the Alawite and Kurdish issues and worked to exacerbate them and make them difficult to solve, are both the state and the government, and that women should The struggle within the ranks of the left-wing Green Party against sexism, patriarchy and violence.

The committee noted that the model of the democratic nation invented by the leader Abdullah Ocalan against the exclusivity imposed by the state is the effective medicine for the wounds of the peoples of the Middle East. it said that all peoples, religious groups, toilers, as well as women and youth living in Turkey, are ready to overthrow and end the fascism of the Justice and Development Party and the nationalist movement.

It pointed out that the electoral stage in Turkey and Kurdistan is important for the struggle for freedom of language and culture for the Kurdish people, the Arab people, the Laz, the Turks and all other peoples, and she said, "Once again, this electoral stage is a very important stage for the struggle for freedom and democracy for the various religious groups, and in particular , Alawites, Yazidis, Assyrians, and Syriacs, and these elections are very important for the life and freedom struggle of women who faced state violence, were killed, and disappeared in Turkey and Kurdistan.

Also, these elections are of great importance for the struggle for democracy and freedom for all social strata, especially the youth and the toiling, and in this sense, we would like to make it clear that the people, women and youth should participate in this stage, knowing that they will play their role in defeating fascism and the power of genocide and the enemy Nature, culture and human rights.

The centenary of the history of the Republic has ended, and this century in the person of the Kurds will take its place in the history of the Kurds as the century of genocide against the peoples, as many massacres were committed against the Alawites, such as the massacres of Erzinkan, Dersim, Koukari, Maraş, Kazi, and Gorum through the mentality of genocide, and we would like to remind in this century, That in addition to physical attacks, ideological and psychological attacks were always present, in other words, the Turkish nation-state or the Republic of Turkey state, with its century-old actions, has always considered the Kurds and Alawite as a security problem, since 1923, i.e. Since the founding of the Republic, they have not allowed the people, especially the Kurds and Alawites were prevented from their rights, but when we look at the things that have happened in the last 20 years, the things that have been imposed on the Kurds, Alawites, women and hard workers within 20 years, they are on the level of a century in themselves.”
