The Turkish occupation state continues to impose strict isolation on the leader Abdullah Ocalan, in violation of international laws and covenants, amid shameful silence by human rights and humanitarian organizations.

In this regard, human rights activist Shadi al-Ibrahim explained: "After the Committee Against Torture's recent visit to Imrali prison, the published statements and information show that the situation in Imrali prison is serious and dangerous. This matter has created a sense of concern for us as peoples who implement the project of the democratic nation and the thought and philosophy of leader Abdullah Ocalan.

He pointed out: "The committee's statements about what is happening in Imrali prison are contradictory, and it does not act responsibly on this issue, and this matter prompts the Kurdish people and the pro-democracy forces in the region to doubt the work of this institution, which claims to be defending prisoners and their rights, because it has not fulfilled its duty towards The leader Abdullah Ocalan, nor any other prisoners, did not deal with the leader in a legal and ethical manner and approach in Imrali prison.

He continued, "The Committee against Torture always deals in a political manner, as it acted in accordance with the policies and interests of the ruling powers and in accordance with Erdogan's fascism, and it did not fulfill its duty towards the leader Ocalan."

Al-Ibrahim emphasized that: "The Committee against Torture (CPT) is an integral part of the international conspiracy, and it also violates its laws and rules to satisfy the policies of the dominant powers."

Al-Ibrahim noted: "From a legal point of view, the so-called international detention does not exist, neither in Turkish laws, nor in international and European asylum treaties, nor in the entity and decisions of the European Court of Human Rights, and that the Committee against Torture is an international organization for the prevention of torture and is responsible for monitoring the situation in Turkish prisons in accordance with the treaties of Turkey and the European Union.

Jurist Shadi al-Ibrahim emphasized: "We will work with all our energies to achieve the leader's freedom through the seriousness of the legal struggle of lawyers on the one hand, and the close monitoring by institutions and people in Turkey and the world of law and human rights on the other hand, because the Committee against Torture is not yet ready to take a serious step in this matter."
