In light of difficult humanitarian conditions, the war in Sudan is entering its third week. With the intensification of battles in the outskirts of the capital, Khartoum, between the army, led by Abdel Fattah Burhan, and the Rapid Support Forces, led by Muhammad Hamdan Dagalo "Hemedti".

Fierce battles in the country were pushed back within two weeks; Many countries are racing to evacuate their nationals from Sudan, while tens of thousands of Syrians live in a state insecurity in most states.

According to many sources, more than 90,000 Syrians, including Kurds from the provinces of Kobani and Girê Spî / Tal Abyad, live in Sudan and are widely spread in the states of Khartoum, River Nile and Kassala.

More than 200 Kurdish families live in the capital, Khartoum alone; According to the news received; All of them left for the city of Atbara, 330 km north of the capital, with the deterioration of the security situation in the capital.

Khalil Haj Muslim, from Qazali village in Girê Spî canton / Tel Abyad, has been working for more than 10 years in the field of digging artesian wells in the vicinity of the capital, Khartoum, and he was displaced a few days ago to the city of Atbara in the north.

Haj Muslim described the situation in Sudan as "catastrophic and tragic," and said: "Things are getting worse day by day. In addition to the battles, theft and looting increase, and these violations often affect Syrians in the first place, as armed gangs spread widely in neighborhoods and the vicinity of the capital."

According to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, 15 Syrian citizens have lost their lives since the war broke out in Sudan two weeks ago.

The Sudanese Ministry of Health announced that the death toll from the clashes between the army forces and the Rapid Support Forces had risen to 528 dead and 4,599 injured, since the beginning of the escalation in the middle of this month until April 28.

In response to the people's demands, the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria formed a "specialized committee" to work and coordinate the return of citizens from the Autonomous Administration areas who are stuck within the borders of Sudan, as a measure towards securing the safe exit of the people of the region to their country.

The Autonomous Administration clarified in its statement about the committee, which it revealed on April 27: “This committee is mandated to deliver information and provide the necessary advice and a map for return, and we welcome any supportive and facilitating efforts for our tasks, within the limits of available capabilities, for any party that wants to cooperate with us in this  moral and humane act."

The Autonomous Administration has allocated numbers and addresses to communicate with the concerned committee. WhatsApp: 104 650 991 963 +

Khalil Haj Muslim appealed to the Autonomous Administration to help the Syrian community get out of Sudan as soon as possible.
