7 children were killed in North and East Syria, and 4 others were injured, within 4 months, as a result of the attacks of the Turkish occupation state and the siege of the Damascus government.

ANHA’s agency has monitored, since the beginning of 2023, the death of 7 children, 4 of them as a result of the attacks of the Turkish occupation state and its mercenaries against North and East Syria, and two children, one of whom is an infant, as a result of the Damascus government's siege on the Sheikh Maqsoud and Ashrafieh neighborhoods, and a child as a result of the war remnants left by the Damascus government in al-Shahba.

Also, 4 children were injured as a result of the attacks of the Turkish occupation state on North and East Syria.

The monitoring results are as follows:

April 23: The village of Ain al-Abd in the eastern countryside of Tal Tamr district was subjected to heavy shelling by the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries on April 23 at 18:00.

The bombing led to the martyrdom of 3 brothers, and they are; Mariam Khader Aweys (10 years), Etidal Aweys (9 years old), and Abdulaziz Khader Aweys (8 years old), in addition to the injuries of the child Muhammad Salih Khader Aweys (8 years old) and Zahr Khader Aweys (14 years old).

February 16: The child Musa Mustafa Bekhanadi (16 years old) was shot in the leg after being targeted by the Turkish occupation soldiers in his border village, Boban, west of Kobani.

January 29: The child Esso Rahmo Arabo (14 years old) lost his life when a landmine left behind by the Damascus government exploded in the village of Bashmari in Sherawa district in the occupied Afrin canton.

January 18: The child Ahmed Abd al-Ghani Salem (12 years old) was martyrdom, as a Turkish occupation drone targeted a civilian car near the village of Ma’shouq, located between Dêrik and Qamishlo, in addition to the death of two citizens and the wounding of 4 others.

January 7: In a shocking incident, the infant Hussein Kibar (17 days old) and Wissam Sido (4 years old) lost their lives. As a result of the severe cold and the lack of heating materials, due to the siege imposed by the Fourth Division of the Damascus government forces on the Ashrafieh and Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhoods in Aleppo.

January 6: The child Ali Khalifa Al-Ali (10 years old) was injured by a drone, as a result of the Turkish occupation’s bombing of the village of al-Khalidiyah in the western countryside of Ain Issa district.
