According to the news, which was published by the Media Center of the Syrian Democratic Forces on its official website, the operation came within the framework of joint operations between the Syrian Democratic Forces and partners to combat the remnants of ISIS mercenary cells.

The news stated, "Yesterday, Saturday, the Anti-Terrorism Units (YAT) of the Syrian Democratic Forces, with the participation of the Anti-Terrorism Service (CTG) of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq and the Global Coalition, managed to dismantle an active cell of the terrorist organization ISIS, consisting of four mercenaries working to support and supply the organization's cells." weapons and military equipment.

Where the units and partner forces raided the dens of the cell's members in the town of Markada, south of Hasakah, and surrounded their homes and searched them thoroughly. A quantity of weapons and technical equipment in their possession was confiscated, and the cell members were arrested.

They found in their possession communication devices, various weapons, and documents proving their affiliation with the terrorist organization “ISIS”.

And the Syrian Democratic Forces confirm that they are continuing to carry out their joint tasks with partners in the region, to pursue the remnants of the cells of the terrorist organization "ISIS", and to impose security and stability in the region.
