"The Iranian state authorities arrested political activist Sakina Barwana again on Wednesday, after her release on February 11," the Women's News Agency (NUJINHA) reported. No information yet about the reason for her arrest.

In previous reports, the Revolutionary Guards confiscated Barwana's identity documents, including her birth certificate and national identity card, which made her daily activities difficult.

Sakina Barwana, a political activist, was sentenced to five years in prison and banned from dealing with political parties for two years, on charges of "belonging to opposition groups in order to undermine the country's security by the Tehran revolutionaries."

She was released after 4 years of detention.
