​​​​​​​Damascus Government prevents repeatedly arrival aid for affected people 

For the second day in a row, aid is waiting for the people and the Autonomous Administration in the Euphrates region for those affected by the February 6 earthquake in Aleppo and al-Shahba, at the al-Tayha crossing between the areas of the Autonomous Administration and the areas of the Damascus government, and it has not yet obtained approval to cross.

On Sunday, the aid went to the al-Tayha crossing, after it was collected from the people of Kobani and its villages for those affected by the earthquake in Aleppo and al-Shahba, in the context of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria's campaign "Together for Humanity."

This aid includes two trucks carrying in-kind and material aid.

Before being sent to the crossing, the co-chair of the Social Affairs and Labor Authority in the Autonomous Administration of the Euphrates region, Helen Hajim, provided a clarification to the media, in which she confirmed that the convoy headed to the crossing after the administration obtained approval to cross the aid.

This is not the first aid that the Damascus government has prevented from crossing. It was preceded by the prevention of the crossing of a convoy of humanitarian aid provided by the people of Sulaymaniyah, and the obstruction of the arrival of 100 tanks of fuel allocated by the Autonomous Administration, a day after the earthquake, to provide relief for the affected people and to assist rescue teams in removing the rubble.

On March 14, the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria withdrew an aid convoy for the people of Sulaymaniyah from the al-Tayha crossing, on the grounds that the Damascus government prevented it from crossing to the earthquake-affected people in Aleppo.
