Amidst chants of Freedom for Leader Ocalan... Newroz fire lit in 11 Centers, Squares in Syria

Thousands of people participated in the Newroz celebrations, including Kurds, Arabs, Syriacs and Armenians, each with its own character and wearing their national costume.

After the people flocked to the centers and squares of Newroz, the Newroz fire was lit by the mothers of the martyrs, amidst chants calling for the physical freedom of the leader Abdullah Ocalan, announcing the launch of the celebrations, in each of the village of Allousha in the Al-Ahdath district in Al-Shahba canton, Shaqif area north of Sheikh Maqsoud on the hill of Mishta Noor in Kobani, in the square of the College of Agriculture in the city of Raqqa.

The fire also was lit in the square of the eastern dam in the city of Hasakah, the village of Golbistan in the district of Darbasiyah, and in the town of Hemo in the city of Qamishlo, and the Newroz square in the Borzi dam in Dêrik, and the village of Haliq in the district of Girê Legê, and in the square of the martyr Mazloum Dogan in Drejik in the district of Tirbe Spi, and in the Newroz square In the village of Jagger Bazaar in Amuda district.

It is scheduled that several speeches will be delivered on the occasion of Newroz 2023, by the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria and civil society institutions, in addition to lyrical, artistic and folklore performances.
