KNK renews its rejection of October 9 agreement

 A delegation headed by the co-chair of the Kurdistan National Congress, Ahmed Qara Mous, visited Başûr Kurdistan at the beginning of March, with the aim of holding a series of meetings with Kurdish parties, civil organizations and Kurdish personalities.

 The KNK delegation's visits to political parties and parties continue in Başûr Kurdistan. In this context, a delegation from the Kurdistan National Congress visited the Yazidi Freedom and Democracy Party in the city of Sulaymaniyah.

 The co-chair of the National Congress, Ahmed Qara Mous, said during the meeting, "Despite the internal conditions that Turkey is going through in general, the Turkish occupation state is still targeting Yazidi leaders. Our goal of the visit is to know the status quo in Şengal. We also discussed the October 9 agreement."  / October concluded between the Kurdistan Democratic Party and the Al-Kazemi government. Today, we reiterate our support for the Autonomous Administration of Şengal.

 He added: “We in the Kurdistan National Congress are striving for the Yazidi community to fully obtain its rights. We renew our rejection of the October 9 agreement because in that agreement the rights of the Yazidi community were undermined.”
