​​​​​​​Entry new relief assistance Sheikh Maksoud- Ashrafiyah neighbourhoods

As part of the efforts to provide relief for those affected by the earthquake that struck the region, especially the residents of the Sheikh Maksoud and Ashrafiyah neighbourhoods who are under siege of the Damascus Government's "fourth division", two trucks loaded with relief and clothing materials were entered today by members of the Kurdish community in the Federal Republic of Russia.

The Fourth Division denied access to relief assistance for two consecutive days in front of its roadblock, and after direct intervention by Russian consular operators in the city of Aleppo, the Fourth Division allowed entry into the neighbourhoods, where its cargo was unloaded in the Star Light Lounge located in the Shaqif area for distribution through relief committees to residents in the coming days.

According to a source familiar with the committees accompanying relief shipments, the Kurdish community in Russia also sent aid to Shahba canton on their way to the province after passing through the "4th Division" barriers.

Recalls that the neighbourhoods of Sheikh Maksoud and Ashrafiyah; They suffer from policies of clampdown and the ongoing blockade imposed by the "fourth division", which impedes the entry of fuels, medicines and flour along with baby formula, especially after the earthquake in the region.
