​​​​​​​Under slogan "Jin, Jiyan, Azadî" symposium of K.Star in Başûr

As part of the activities of International Women's Day, the Kongra Star representative office in Başûr (Southern Kurdistan) organized a symposium under the slogan "Jin, Jiyan, Azadî "Women, Life, Freedom", in Khak Hall in the city of Sulaymaniyah, yesterday, Sunday (March 5), according to Kongra Star official websites .

The symposium began with an opening speech by Slava Suleiman, the member of the Kongra Star representative, during which she referred to the importance of March 8, and the sacrifices of women who resisted all kinds of injustice in order to reach their rights and freedom, pointing out that the slogan "Jin, Jiyan, Azadî Women, Life, Freedom" Start from Kurdistan has become the motto of free life for all women in the world.

The symposium were completed with a lecture on the women's revolution in Rojava delivered by the representative of Kongra Star in Başûr Kurdistan Region, Rosa Hassan, during which she referred to the difficulties faced by women in Rojava and Syria under the Baath regime and the attacks of ISIS mercenaries and the Turkish occupation state on the region, stressing that, despite all the challenges, women strengthened their will and participated in various political, diplomatic, military and economic fields. She confirmed that the slogan "Jin, Jiyan, Azadî Women, Life, Freedom" must be embodied in society.

The official of the diplomatic relations of the Free Women's Association in Rojhelat Kurdistan, Roserin Kamenger, spoke about the revolution of "Jin, Jiyan, Azadî Women, Life, Freedom" and its gains in Rojhelat Kurdistan, saying: " during of the revolution, the people of Rojhelat Kurdistan (Eastern Kurdistan) relied on its own capabilities, despite all the pressures, it became a societal revolution."

In another axis, the feminist activist and head of the Dabien Organization, Dilsoz Zangana, spoke about the impact of the slogan "Jin, Jiyan, Azadî Women, Life, Freedom" on women's struggle, stressing that the revolution led by women will succeed because we cannot say that there is a free society unless women are free in it.
