​​​​​​​HPG: Turkish occupation bombs resistance areas with phosphorous, chemical bombs

On Wednesday, the Media Center of the People's Defense Forces issued a statement to the public opinion, which stated, " "despite the call of the co-chair of the Kurdistan Community Union to suspend all operations in the mountains and cities, the Turkish occupation bombed the resistance areas 142 times with internationally banned phosphorus bombs."

It stressed that "the Guerrilla forces dealt 47 painful blows to the occupation, during which they killed 18 Turkish soldiers, in addition to destroying many military equipment and weapons."

It continued, "Two days after the disaster of the earthquake, the co-chair of the Executive Council of the Kurdistan Community Union KCK, Jamil Bayik, called for the suspension of all operations in the mountains and cities due to the earthquake, and based on this call; the People's Defense Command Center NPG decided to stop the activities, unless the enemy launched attacks."

The Center emphasized that "the call to suspend combat activities and the decision issued by the co-chair of the KCK Executive Council, Jamil Bayik, gained support and had a significant impact throughout the Kurdistan region and Iraq."
