KJK congratulates women on the Day of 8th March

On the occasion of approaching the 8th of March; On International Women's Day, the Coordinator of the Kurdistan Women's Organization (KJK) issued a written statement, on Monday evening, translated by Firat news agency.

The text reads;

"When we head towards March 8, 2023, the International Day of Toiling Women, we see that our struggle for women's freedom is not just one day, but has spread in every moment and in all times and places, and we are living that, as the struggle for women's freedom has become a global struggle, so women's revolutions It is not a fantasy, and through the emancipatory changes in women's lives that can be seen in Rojava, Kurdistan, the Middle East and many parts of the world in different ways and colors, one can understand the results of the struggle through that matter, so the possibility that the 21st century is the century that happened It has women's revolutions and develops with great force.

Humanity is optimistic about the uprisings and social oppositions that have developed and grown under the leadership of the struggle of women's freedom against the dominant patriarchal system. Large societies that demand freedom, democracy and justice are coming together more and more under the leadership of women around women, and according to the lifestyles created by this oppressive dominant masculine mentality. The struggle against injustice, immorality, unscrupulousness and state tool, and the re-creation of a new ecological-independent life where equality, freedom and difference coexist with tolerance, has become, step by step, a strong demand of the entire society.

In this context, the ideology of women's freedom in women's science, the model of freedom, and women's resistance, and our organization has a serious leadership role in accelerating humanity towards beauty, equality, justice, and freedom. When humanity is experiencing vast and complex problems, the strategic importance of our struggle for women's freedom increases day by day. It becomes clear that humanity needs awareness, activity, organization, and the re-creation of a free woman's life again. If one says, "The existence of humanity is related to fueling the struggle for women's freedom," then this matter is not much.

The promise of a women's revolution

We remember with honor and gratitude the martyrs of women's freedom, and we renew our promise to achieve the women's revolution.

On the occasion of this Resistance Day, we pay tribute to the 129 working women who were burned on March 8, 1957, in a textile factory while they were on strike in New York State, USA, and we salute all the women who carried out great courage and guerrilla spirit in the freedom struggle throughout history, like Clara Zetkin Laerden, Rosa Luxembourg, Sarah (Sakîne Cansiz), Vian Jaf, Sherine Almhoul, Shilan Kobani, Arin Mirkan, the women's uprisings in Eastern Kurdistan (Roghilat) whose line is inspired by the legacy of Gina Amini, and all the women who fight for freedom in the four parts of Kurdistan, Afghanistan, the Middle East and the whole world!

We remember with respect and reverence in the person of Sarah Tolhaldan, Roken Zelal, Mezgin, Rojda, Afzim, Nalin, Norshin Efrin, Mezgin Kogro, and Melsa Moush, who represent the highest level of our line of radical women that became in 2022 in Zap and Avaşîn and gradually spread globally, and we remember also in the person of our comrade Asmar are all the martyrs of the Free Women Units - Star and the People’s Defense Forces (HPG), and all the comrades of our comrades who were martyred in different periods of the struggle, such as Berivan Zilan, Dalal Nurhaq, Gian Tolhaldan, Peyman Bakouk, Cicek Harouni, Zainab Sarukhan, And Avin Koy, and Zilan Konya, who were martyred in Paris and Sulaymaniyah in a treacherous manner.

Besides our martyrs, we also know despite all the pains and hardships how our Kurdish mothers, relatives of our martyrs, our young girls and women resist, and that our struggle for women’s freedom will inevitably triumph, defeating the hegemonic, dirty, immoral and unscrupulous masculinity, and on this basis, we recall once again on the occasion of on the 8th of March; International Day of Toiling Women, all our martyrs for freedom with gratitude and reverence, and we congratulate the advent of the 8th of March on the mothers of peace who are fighting for the freedom of women, and on all our train companions in prisons, and on the Guerrilla fighters and fighters in the mountains, and on the wounded companions and companions of our train, and on our peoples And our internationalists friends and comrades, and in this context, we renew our promise to build, develop and spread our goal of achieving the women’s revolution towards our martyrs, the women of resistance and the toiling women.

The model and philosophy of freedom for our leader is spreading with gradual speed in the world day after day, and although our leader has been living under a regime of isolation and torture for 25 years, people who want to live a comfortable, correct, humane and more honest life are being studied by the opposing forces and researchers, and are being applied. His ideas in different ways, as the role and mission of our leader with regard to the struggle for women's freedom is very historical, and the development and growth that we are witnessing in the person of Kurdish women and the recognition obtained is thanks to the efforts of our leader, and that the ideology that he developed for women, and the level of employment and practical application, and proposals that are commensurate With the centuries, it took its place over the years, and women have passed this period. From this point of view, our line for women's freedom, our ideology, and our philosophy are universal. In this context, our leader is mostly; leader for women.

Women have tasted the pleasure and honor of life with the identity of a free woman by applying the methods of freedom suggested by our leader.

Our leader Abdullah Ocalan has shown, through his practical practices, that he is the true companion and friend of women, and in this context, we salute our leader with great gratitude, love and respect on the occasion of March 8; International Day of Toiling Women, and we bless the liberating stance and resistance of our leader in Imrali. The main war is being waged in Imrali, as our leader in the face of this has widespread resistance, and the freedom of our leader; It is the freedom of women, just as our struggle for the physical freedom of our leader; It is a strategic struggle, and in this context, our primary duty in the advanced stage as a women's movement; It is the guarantee of the physical freedom of our leader and the dissemination of his thoughts, opinions and way of life.
