Committee of Serêkaniyê IDPs considers UN aid as support for consolidation of demographic change

 The Committee for the Displaced (Serekaniyê / Ras al-Ain / Resh-Ainu) issued a statement to the public opinion, in which it denounced the introduction of United Nations aid organizations into the occupied Serêkaniyê area.

 During its statement, the committee confirmed that the beneficiaries of this aid are the Turkish army and its mercenaries, officials of the so-called coalition, illegal local councils in the occupied cities, and some regional companies and organizations that supervise and manage settlement operations, build detention centers and military training centers for "terrorist organizations."

 The text of the statement read:

The steps of the United Nations Organization have proven the extent to which it violates international conventions and norms and its siding with one party at the expense of others, and how it paves the way for demographic change. The settlement of people from other regions, and the legitimization of the occupation.

 Local and regional media reported the UN aid by the WHO the (UNICEF) and other parties to the occupied Serêkaniyê / Ras al-Ain area.

 Beneficiaries of international aid

 The statement referred to the beneficiaries of this aid, and stated: “The entry of aid into this occupied region by United Nations agencies after the displacement of its original inhabitants, despite their knowledge that the beneficiaries of this aid are:

First - The Turkish occupation army and its loyal factions and military leaders that forcibly displaced the indigenous people from their homeland as a result of a series of military operations.

 Second: Officials of the coalition forces and the illegal local councils in the occupied cities and their families.

 Third: Some regional companies and organizations that supervise and manage the settlement process by building settlements, military barracks, detention centers, and military training centers for those terrorist organizations.

 The United Nations is turning a blind eye to the tragedy and its evasion of its duties is a violation of human rights

 The committee affirmed that the United Nations sees the suffering of the displaced people of Serekaniye in the camps, and continued: "which lacks the most basic necessities of life, in addition to its lack of the basic requirements of life in all respects, as the burden of securing these needs has been placed on the shoulders of the Autonomous Administration in North and East Syria, and local humanitarian associations."  In light of the continued closure of the Tal Koçer humanitarian crossing and the siege imposed on the area.

 And she stressed that the United Nations' disregard of the tragedy left by the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries of the regions (Serêkanye / Ras al-Ain) and (Girê Spî / Tel Abyad) and its evasion of its duties and submission to international pressures of the Damascus government is a violation of the standards of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the principles of international humanitarian law represented by  Organized forced displacement, which is defined by international law as (the illegal eviction of a group of individuals and residents from the land in which they reside).

It said: "This policy adopted by the Turkish occupier and his aides is intended to turn the areas they occupied into hotbeds for the export of terrorism, murder and plunder, so the return will be difficult and fraught with danger as a result of changing the geometry of the region societally. Thus the Turkish occupation achieves its goals in perpetuating demographic change and transforming the occupied areas in proportion to  and colonial projects.

 The occupied areas are a breeding ground for mercenaries, bandits, and drug dealers

 The statement of the Committee for the Displaced of Serêkaniyê talked about the situation in the occupied territories, and noted that it had turned into a hotbed for thieves, bandits, and drug dealers.

  He added: "They have turned some agricultural lands into farms for the production and trafficking of narcotic substances, and they dispose of the property and lands of the indigenous people through invalid and illegal sale contracts so as to change the features of the region and its essence and blur its identity. This matter is a war crime. Unfortunately, the United Nations and other international organizations send aid to these mercenaries at a time when it should have helped the indigenous people in the areas of the Autonomous Administration, displacement camps, and shelter centers, return without occupation, but because of their lack of seriousness in dealing fairly and credibly with the justified issues and facts on the ground, we see it standing unable to implement its principles and tasks and sending aid to mercenaries and military factions."

Dedication of demographic change

 At the end of the statement, the Committee for the Displaced (Sere Kaniye / Ras al-Ain / Resh Ainu) considered these actions by the United Nations as biased and deviating from international charters and laws, and called on it to deal with these areas in accordance with international humanitarian law and consider them areas of external and internal armed conflict, "because the one responsible for  The reality is a struggle between indigenous people and invaders, residents who insist on a safe return without occupation, and invaders who, unfortunately, are supported by international and regional powers and even by United Nations bodies to perpetuate demographic change, which is considered a war crime.
