"Together for Humanity" campaign winds down

The Democratic Autonomous Administration of Jazera region announced, during a statement at the March 12 Martyrs' Stadium in Qamishlo, the end of the campaign it launched with the components of Jazera region under the name "Together for Humanity."

The statement was made by the co-chair of the Executive Council of the Democratic Autonomous Administration of the Jazera region, Talaat Younes, who said, "As a result of the earthquake that hit Syria and Turkey and the catastrophe that befell the Syrian regions, the Autonomous Administration in Jazera region, with the participation of all its components, decided to launch the campaign to collect donations and aid for the affected areas.

He added, the campaign began on the 9th of this month and ended on the 20th, and on 20th day of the campaign, 10 trucks containing "clothes, blankets, in addition to foodstuffs and infant formula" were prepared.

He stated that the "Together for Humanity" convoy set off towards the affected areas.

He called on "the other parties to facilitate the passage of this aid and open the crossings in order to deliver humanitarian and relief aid for those in need in the affected areas."

Younes, thanked all the components of the region for their spirit of brotherhood and assistance, adding that "the councils and communes had the greatest role in this campaign."

Worth to note that the campaign aimed to help the areas affected by the February 6 earthquake that hit Turkey and large areas of Syria.
