Another convoy of aid enters Sheikh Maqsoud

Another convoy of international aid sent to Syria, consisting of five trucks, entered the neighborhoods of Sheikh Maqsoud and Ashrafieh.

The trucks entered through the Al-Awarid checkpoint, and unloaded their cargo in two batches, the shipment of tents, and blankets was unloaded in the Afrin hall, and the other shipment consisting of clothes and kitchen utensils in the Alwan hall, where the two halls are located in the Shaqif area north of the Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhood.

The Relief Committee previously stated that it is working in cooperation with the communes to organize lists for those affected by the earthquake, where the distribution will be according to eligibility, however distribution will be suspended until all convoys finish crossing.

These materials came from the contributing countries for help those affected by the earthquake and to mitigate the effects on them, as many people died and tens of thousands of people were displaced because of the earthquake.

About humanitarian aid convoy sent by the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria since February 10 to the neighborhoods of Sheikh Maqsoud and Ashrafieh is prevented by the Damascus government.
