​​​​​​​Tens of thousands of demonstrators condemns international conspiracy in Jazera region

On the 24th anniversary of the international conspiracy against leader Abdullah Ocalan, today, tens of thousands of people in the Cantons of Qamishlo and Hasaka of the Jazera region of all its Kurdish, Arab, Syriac and Armenian components took part in central demonstrations in the city of Qamishlo, Hasaka, and the districts of Girkê Legê and Derik, under the slogan "We will destroy Imraly system through the struggle of the people," amid a complete closure of markets and shops, condemning the plot.

People of all components, patriotic personalities and families of martyrs, members of institutions, organizations, civil and women's movements, youth and religious personalities, and representatives of political parties in north and east Syria and the Democratic Autonomous Administration in Jazera region participated in the Qamishlo demonstration condemning the international conspiracy against the leader Abdullah Ocalan.

Pictures of the leader Abdullah Ocalan were raised in it, and banners reads "There is no life without the leader" in both Kurdish and Arabic, in addition to the mothers of peace wearing white jackets with pictures of the leader and writings such as "There is no life without the leader Apo."

Upon their arrival to the Muhammad Shekho Center for Culture and Art, they stood a minute of silence in honor of the souls of the martyrs, then a speech was delivered by the co-chair of

the Democratic Union Party (PYD), Asiya Abdullah, denouncing the plot of February 15 that targeted the leader Abdullah Ocalan.

And Asiya added: "The conspiracy against the leader Abdullah Ocalan is a conspiracy against the people of Kurdistan and all peoples, humanity and women."

Asiya Abdullah confirmed that the resistance of the people of Kurdistan, led by the Kurdistan Freedom Movement, the Women's Freedom Movement, and the leader Ocalan, entered a new phase, and she said: "With this struggle, the approach of protection and will for identity expanded."

She explained that leader Ocalan's thought and his physical freedom is the key to resolving the Kurdish issue and all the crises of the Middle East, addressing her speech to the Kurdish, international and regional powers, saying: "If you want a solution and peace in the ME and a solution to the Kurdish problem, then its key lies in Imraly. Thus, all supporters of the solution who want to solve the Kurdish issue must break the severe isolation imposed on the leader."

And she added, "With the spirit of the martyrs (you will not be able to block our sun) and the voice of millions of Kurds who called out against the international conspiracy, today we raise our voice loudly once again together to support Imrali's resistance and thwart the policies of the international conspiracy, and with this insistence we will continue our struggle and we will reach victory."

At the end of her speech, Asiya Abdullah called on (CPT) and international human rights organizations to break the strict isolation of the leader, and to allow his lawyer and his family to

meet with him.

Girkê legê

In the same context, the people of Girê Legê district of Qamishlo Canton went out in a demonstration, in which they carried pictures of leader Abdullah Ocalan.

After the demonstrators arrived to Azadi Square, the demonstrators stopped for a minute of silence in honor of the souls of the martyrs. There, a speech was delivered on behalf of the Arab component, by Salih Safo, he explained that the international conspiracy against the leader Abdullah Ocalan is still continuing through the isolation imposed on him, and he said: "The continued isolation of the leader is continuation of the international conspiracy."

For her part, the co-chair of the Democratic Society Movement (TEV-DEM), Roken Ahmed, confirmed that the cohesion and solidarity of the region's components thwarted the plot.

Roken Ahmed confirmed that the philosophy  of leader Ocalan is now present in every Kurdish house throughout Kurdistan.

Derik

Thousands of people from the Derik district and the regions of Barav and Kochrat and its affiliated villages took part in a demonstration, in which representatives of political parties, clan notables, religious scholars and civil institutions in the district also participated.

The demonstrators marched towards the Martyr Bawer Center of the Syrian Revolutionary Youth Movement, turning the demonstration into a mass gathering.

After standing a minute of silence in honor of the souls of the martyrs, the co-chair of the TEV-DEM, Gharib Hasso, delivered a speech in which he condemned the plot against the leader.

He said that the plot "aims to end the project of the democratic nation, but it failed because the people derive their ideas from the philosophy of the leader and consolidate the concept of the democratic nation in Syria and bring together all the components of Syria."

Hasso pointed out that the conspiracy "is still continuing to this day, through crimes and attacks that targets the region, as well as the unity of peoples in NE Syria."

Hasaka

In the city of Hasakah, thousands of residents of the districts of Tal Tamr, al-Hol and al-Shaddadi of the Arab, Kurdish and Syriac components, in addition to the notables of the Arab clans, participated in the demonstration, carrying pictures of the leader Abdullah Ocalan.

The demonstrators carried banners reading, "With people's resistance, we will destroy Imrali prison," while chanting slogans and chants denouncing the isolation of leader Abdullah Ocalan, which salutes his resistance in prison.

The demonstration turned into a mass gathering, and a speech was delivered by the co-chair of the Democratic Union Party (PYD), Salih Muslim, in which he denounced the international conspiracy against the leader Abdullah Ocalan, which entered its 25th year.

Salih Muslim referred to its goals by saying: "Their aim is to separate the leader Abdullah Ocalan from his people, but the conspiring countries do not know that those who set their bodies on fire turned into a ring of fire around him."

Muslim sent a message to all the conspiring powers, and in particular the Turkish occupation state, which is tightening its isolation, saying: We adhere to our cause and the path that leader Ocalan paved for us, whatever the cost."

He concluded his speech: "We will achieve the physical freedom of the leader Abdullah Ocalan, and everyone who has a hand in the conspiracy will pay the price."

All the demonstrations ended with slogans saluting the resistance of leader Ocalan in Imrali prison, "Long live the leader's resistance", "There is no life without the leader", "Long live the Imrali resistance."

It is noteworthy that the leader Abdullah Ocalan was subjected to an international conspiracy whose threads began on the 9th of October 1998 when he left Syria heading to Moscow, and after a trip between several European countries and Russia over 4 months, the leader was arrested in the Kenyan capital Nairobi in the February 15, 1999, to be handed to Turkey in a conspiracy that continues today through the regime of isolation and torture in Imrali.
