Mass protests of Afrin's IDPs, Shahba's people against international conspiracy

Tens of thousands of displaced people from Afrin and the people of Shahba canton took part under the slogan "Enough with isolation, denial and betrayal. The time has come for freedom and dropping the plot of February 15" in a mass demonstration in Shahba canton, to denounce the international conspiracy against the leader Abdullah Ocalan in its 24th anniversary.

The demonstration started from the entrance of the Fafin district towards the square of Al-Sawaqa School in the center of the district, in which the demonstrators carried pictures of the leader Abdullah Ocalan, and banners written on them in Arabic and Kurdish, "It's time for freedom" amid chanting slogans saluting the resistance of leader Ocalan in Imrali prison and denouncing the international conspiracy .

When the demonstrators arrived at Al-Sawaqa Square, they paused for a minute of silence in honor of the souls of the martyrs, followed by listening to excerpts from the leader Abdullah Ocalan's statements, after which the member of the General Council of the Democratic Union Party, Zelal Ceker delivered a speech, denouncing at its outset the international conspiracy that was plotted against the leader Ocalan, and saluted his resistance in Imrali prison.

Zelal Ceker stressed the need for all peoples to participate in the struggle against isolation, adhere to the thought and philosophy of life and free will put forward by the leader Abdullah Ocalan, and raise the pace of resistance and struggle.

She pointed out that thousands of freedom fighters in the four parts of Kurdistan and Europe are fighting for freedom, so everyone should know that "no one can block our sun and keep us away from the leader."

She stressed that the resistance of the displaced from Afrin, the people of Shahba, and the people of the Sheikh Maqsoud and Ashrafieh neighborhoods continues despite all the difficult circumstances, where they affirm through their struggle that the freedom of the leader Abdullah Ocalan is a guarantee of the liberation of Afrin and all occupied areas.

At the end of her speech Ceker stressed that the year 2023 will be the year of the freedom of the leader Abdullah Ocalan, and the liberation of all occupied areas in NE Syria from the Turkish occupation.
