​​​​​​​Thousands in Euphrates region demonstrate against international conspiracy

After the foot march of the Syrian Revolutionary Youth Movement and the Young Women's Union reached the city of Kobani, coming from the Shiran district, where they covered a distance of 20 km on foot in 3 days, the demonstration started from the Free Woman Square in the city center.

Thousands of people from the Euphrates region, members of the Autonomous Administration institutions and personalities from the political parties in the region participated in it.

The demonstrators carried pictures of the leader Abdullah Ocalan, while chanting slogans denouncing the international conspiracy against him in 1999 and the isolation imposed on him by the Turkish occupation state, "Down with the fascists", "There is no life without the leader", "Long live the leader."

Upon reaching the intersection of Street 48 in the city, the demonstrators observed a minute of silence in honor of the souls of the martyrs, followed by a speech by the member of the Kongra Star Coordination in the Euphrates region, Arin Kobani, in which she said: “For 24 years they have been trying to take us back to the dark ages, but they have come to realize what February 15th means to us. It is the day of judgment for the sake of leader Ocalan."

She added, "We are the owners of a legitimate cause, the owners of the right, that is why they impose isolation on our leader, who became the leader and savior of all peoples, and for this we must be worthy of the inheritance that the leader bequeathed to us with his thought."

She stressed that "the time has come to break the bars of Imrali prison, they are trying to break our will by imposing physical isolation on the leader, and with our struggle we will thwart their plans and achieve his physical freedom."

She pointed out, "The seekers of freedom are beside us today, and the traitors only lost the way and put their hand in the hands of the tyrannical regimes, and they got lost in the dark.

" Today, the occupiers of Kurdistan's geography are trying to exterminate us through their conspiracy against the leader. They are trying to thwart our democratic project, so we must eliminate the seeds of tyranny, and follow the leader's philosophy, and we say to the occupiers, stop oppression and tyranny, and with this we will reach the path of freedom that the leader drew for us.

In turn, the co-chair of the Girê Spî Canton Council, Hamid al-Abed, called on the whole world to move and achieve the physical freedom of the leader Abdullah Ocalan, and said: "It is unfair to arrest those who demand people's freedom and keep criminals outside prison walls."

At the end of his speech, Al-Abed appealed to all components in the region to move to put pressure on global powers to lift the isolation imposed on the leader, vowing to follow the path that the leader drew with his thought and philosophy.
