The Syrian Democratic Forces dismantled an ISIS cell in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, after clashes resulted in killing two mercenaries, where the SDF confiscating a quantity of weapons and military equipment.

SDF's Media Center stated "With the participation and support of the international coalition, our Counter-terrorism Units (YAT) spotted, on February 9, an ISIS terrorist cell in the al-Suar district, Deir Ezzor countryside.

The terrorist cell was responsible for supplying the ISIS cells with weapons and equipment and planning for terrorist acts that target the safety and stability of the region.

The operation resulted in two terrorists killed after refusing to answer the call for a safe surrender and confiscating the following weapons and equipment:

-Grenades /1/

-Smartphones /3/

-Mobile phones /1/

-Wi-Fi Ruter /1/

-Small camera /1/
