AA, PYD, and SDC condole families of earthquake victims

On Monday, the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria issued a statement condoling the families of the victims, saying: "Based on our concern for our Syrian people of all affiliations, and an affirmation of our concern and sharing of the pain and tragedies of our people throughout Syria, we extend our sincere condolences to those who lost their lives as a result of the earthquake which resulted in hundreds victims and injured.

" We, in the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria, affirm our full readiness to provide everything necessary to overcome the repercussions of this disaster, and to assist the affected areas. We also affirm that our doors are open to everyone.

At the same time, we direct all our institutions to raise the state of readiness and put all available capabilities into service, with full alert at all necessary levels to provide the necessary needs for our affected areas.

The Democratic Union Party (PYD) also sent a message of condolence, which was published on its official website, in which it stated: " We extend our deepest condolences to all the victims of the peoples of the region, their Kurds, Arabs, Turks and all other components, as a result of the earthquake that hit the region at dawn today.

" We ask for mercy for those who lost their lives and a speedy recovery for the wounded, and we call on all the peoples of the region to show all forms of solidarity and societal solidarity in such difficult and exceptional times.

In turn, the Syrian Democratic Council offered condolences to the families of the victims in a message that stated:

“We are following with great sadness and concern the news of the painful consequences of the earthquake that affected large areas throughout Syria, especially the border areas between Turkey and Syria.”

" Preliminary estimates indicate that hundreds of Syrians have lost their lives and their property has been damaged over the earthquake that hit several regions and governorates of Syria, large areas of Turkey were also affected.

We call on all the specialized health and relief institutions, as well as the civil defence to cover the necessary needs as much as possible.

We also call on all international bodies to assume its responsibilities in the face of this disaster and to take measures that support the rescue of civilians and prevent the exacerbation of this disaster.

"It is a catastrophe that pushes us to the need for human and environmental solidarity, to solve problems through understanding and dialogue, and to open the door to peaceful solutions." "Mercy for all those who martyred in this tragic disaster, healing for the wounded.”
