KCK offers deepest condolences to families of collapsing building in Sheikh Maqsoud

The co-chairmanship of KCK stated a written statement regarding the incident of collapsing building in Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhood of Aleepo.

The statement reads:

"According to the statements published to the public opinion, 16 people lost their lives as a result of the collapse of a building in the Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhood in Aleppo, and many of the wounded were rescued and many are still under the rubble, this accident broke our heart. Sheikh Maqsoud people, all the people of NE, Syria, and whole Kurdistan people. So, we express our deepest sympathy and condolences to all the Kurdistainan people, wishing speedy recovery to the wounded and we hope that the number of victims will not increase, and rescue of those remain in ruins.

Our people in Aleppo and Sheikh Maqsoud have shown great resistance against attacks, hunger, destruction, and lack of resources under all difficult circumstances, and thanks to their spirit of resistance, they overcame all difficulties. Our people in Aleppo and Sheikh Maqsoud showed an exemplary experience regarding solidarity and community life. We are confident that our people in Sheikh will overcome this heartbreaking event that has pained us all, with this spirit and these feelings, by caring for each other. Once again, we offer our condolences to the families of those who lost their lives, to the people of Kurdistan, and to our people in Sheikh Maqsoud, the people of northern and eastern Syria, and we share their pain.
