Damascus government, the Turkish occupation state and Russia... consensus against AANES

 Berri commented on the path of rapprochement between the Turkish occupation state and the Damascus government under Russian auspices, explaining that despite the differences of those countries, they somehow agree to eliminate the Autonomous Administration.

 They want to eliminate the Kurds administration

 The head of the Kurds Without Borders organization, Kadar Berri, told our agency, "The content of the outcomes of the meetings between the two parties is well known. The Turk wants to eliminate the Kurds and the Autonomous Administration, while the regime and Russia want to control Syria's resources."

 Berri believed that the two parties reached this agreement and may not have announced it directly and clearly, "but their agreement is how to eliminate the Autonomous Administration and the Syrian Democratic Forces, especially since they tried previously, whether through the occupation of Afrin or the rest of the occupied Syrian cities, to submit the Autonomous Administration to Russia's conditions."

 Regarding the extent to which the three parties benefited from the rapprochement, he indicated that there are two complexes ahead for Turkey, which are the elections and the bad Turkish economic situation.  As a result of Erdogan's policies abroad, he pointed out that there are two main files on the Turkish agenda, which are represented in "the refugee issue, which has become a central point in the Turkish elections between the Turkish opposition and the ruling regime; Erdogan's regime and his cronies, as the two parties have become hesitant and most of their electoral statements; How to get rid of the refugees  The Syrians, and the second issue, is how to withdraw from Syria, and that is why you find that Erdogan and the opposition are racing to reconcile for the sake of their interests with the regime.

 Russia is looking for an imaginary victory

 As for the Russian endeavor to make it a success, Berri explained, "The Russians are involved in the Ukrainian war, so the first seeks to please Turkey to achieve gains in Ukraine. There is also the Syrian file. Russia is looking for any imaginary victory over America and it is fully aware that the agreement is for how to eliminate  the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria and the elimination of the Syrian Democratic Forces.

 He pointed out that Russia sees the elimination of the Syrian Democratic Forces;  Eliminating the American presence in Syria, and believing that achieving this is creating a victory over America!

 Meeting with any outside party is a political victory

Regarding the interest of the Damascus government in this rapprochement, Berri noted that "the regime is a failure, helpless, besieged, and subject to sanctions, trying in various ways to consider anything a gain."

 Stressing that "the Damascus government considers any meeting with a foreign party a political victory for it, especially after it promoted that it had defeated the so-called opposition militarily, and this opposition is the one who handed over its decision to Turkey, which is acting on its behalf in the negotiations and the statements of the head of the so-called Syrian Interim Government who agreed to reconcile with the regime."

 Berri believed that the supporters of the Damascus government see "that the rapprochement with the Turkish occupation state is a betrayal of the blood of those killed by the occupation and its mercenaries, while the mercenaries also realized that the occupation exploited them for its interests in Syria."

 Therefore, he called on the Syrians to impose their will, and continued: "The Syrians can impose their will, as in the areas of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria, and reject any political decisions that do not comply with their requirements and reject any international decisions imposed on them."

 On the position of the Autonomous Administration, Berri said, "The Autonomous Administration Syria relied on itself and its forces and confronted all schemes hatched against Syria."

 The Autonomous Administration, in more than one forum, called on the Damascus government to reconcile with the Syrians instead of reconciling with an occupied country, and warned of the recent rapprochement between the Damascus government and the Turkish occupation state under the auspices of Russia, and confirmed that it would direct the country to division.

 Berri stressed that the statements that came out of the Autonomous Administration are steps in the right path and timing, and that any attempt to float the Damascus government by Russia and the Turkish occupation state would be contrary to international resolutions, specifically Resolution 2254.
