Commander of "National Defense" in Homs killed by IED attack

Unidentified persons targeted the car of the commander of "National Defense", called Rami al-Rahal, with an explosive device in the city of Talbisah in the northern countryside of Homs, which led to his death.

According to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, the targeting of al-Rahal took place on the agricultural road adjacent to the Homs-Hama highway by explosive device in his car.

In light of the security chaos in the areas of the Damascus government, no one has claimed responsibility for the IED attack that left the commander of the "National Defence" dead.

Al-Rahal, served as the leader of the "National Defence" and head of the "Alnafitha Alwahida" office in Talbisah city in the northern countryside of Homs.

Ramy al-Rahal is considered One of the most prominent figures loyal to the intelligence services of the Damascus government, responsible for handing over dozens of young men to the security branches.

Worth to note that "Rami al-Rahal" is the son of the head of the city council of Talbisah. The so-called "Ahmed Al-Rahal", who was killed in a similar manner in mid-October.
