​​​​​​​Afrin's displaced people pledge to continue resistance

The Damascus government imposes a suffocating and unjust siege on al-Shahba canton, especially on the displaced people of Afrin who live in camps and semi-destroyed houses, and prevents the entry of basic materials such as fuel, foodstuffs, and medicines into the region, in addition to the continuous bombing of the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries on the canton.

In this regard, the displaced, Juma Walo, said, "We suffer many difficulties, as the cold is severe, and the Damascus government prevents the entry of fuel into al-Shahba district and imposes a suffocating siege on it, especially on the camps."

"In al-Shahba, there are 5 camps for the displaced from occupied Afrin, amid difficult living conditions, from the cold and the loss of basic materials, and the deprivation of children from school due to the lack of heating," he explained.

  At the end of his speech, stressing "steadfastness and resistance, no matter how severe the siege is."

In her turn, the displaced Fidan Muhammad said, "We in the camps are deprived of the most basic necessities of life, including foodstuffs, medicines and fuel, and in difficult circumstances, in light of the unjust siege imposed on us by the Damascus government."

And she noted, "For 5 years, we have been resisting and facing all difficulties, and we will continue to resist this unjust siege imposed on us."
