Muhyiddin Sheikh Ali urges to join hands together against Turkish occupation attacks

The Secretary of the Kurdish Democratic Unity Party of Syria (Yekiti), Muhyiddin Sheikh Ali, said in a statement published by the party's website:

" On Saturday evening, November 19^th, at night, Turkey launched large-scale military attacks on northern Syria, affecting areas of Aleppo, Raqqa and Hasakah governorates, during which it used its warplanes, heavy artillery and others, directing its fire towards Derik, Ad-Derbasiya, Zerghan, Ain Issa, through Kobani, reaching to Shahba and Tel Riffat ... Dozens of wounded and martyred victims, not to mention the havoc of vital facilities and material damage, sparked a wave of grave concern and condemnation among the general local population.

Cowardly attack came in a time in which Turkish interior is witnessing deepest crisis in its history that may witness ominous threat on Erdogan and his ally Devlet Bahçeli and those who support them among various circles of religious and national extremism in the Turkish center, which rapidly exploited the recent terrorist operation in Istanbul to accuse the Kurdish side unjustly, in order to divert attention, primarily targeting the presence and role of the SDF against terrorism and racism

In a related context, it has become clear to Syrians and public opinion trends at home and abroad, that Turkey's policies against neighbouring countries, particularly Syrian state, that permits the occupation of other people's lands and spread a culture of hatred, racism and discrimination among the people of the region, relying on the blind logic of power rather than the power of logic and laws.

We appeal to all Syrian community actors and political forces to join forces with peace lovers and anti-war activists in the region and the world to raise voices of condemnation of Turkey's aggressive and repeated attacks against our people. "
