Afrin Liberation Forces announces martyrdom of 5 of its fighters in Turkish occupation attacks

 Today, Sunday, the Afrin Liberation Forces issued a statement to the public opinion about the attacks of the Turkish occupation state on the region after midnight on Saturday.

 The text of the statement stated:

"The occupying and fascist Turkish state continues its attacks on our displaced people without interruption since the occupation of Afrin. It recently, specifically during the night hours of November 19, launched air raids on many areas of NE Syria and Rojava. It targeted many places and areas inhabited by civilians.

 And at the same time;  Intense air raids targeted the areas of Tal Refaat, Shera, the villages of Baylouniyeh, Sheikh Issa, Mingh, Shawarga, and many other places and regions inhabited by our displaced people.  These attacks resulted in the death of 5 of our fighters and the wounding of two civilians.  Many Syrian army bases were also targeted in these attacks.  As a result, no less than 20 Syrian regime soldiers were killed and no less than 20 other soldiers were wounded.

We, in the Afrin Liberation Forces, stress that just as we have defended our people against the attacks of the occupying Turkish army so far, we will defend our people and our regions with greater determination from now on as well.  We affirm that these attacks launched by the Turkish occupation army on our lands and people will not go unanswered.

 We offer our condolences to all our people and the families of our martyrs, and we wish a speedy recovery to all the wounded.”
