​​​​​​​AA in Jazira region to support community economic projects

 With the approach of 2023, the Democratic Autonomous Administration in the Jazira region held workshops with all segments of society, in an effort to consolidate the concept of community participation with the Autonomous Administration, and to prioritize its projects for the next year.

 These workshops, which the Autonomous Administration began holding on October 17, came in the context of the activities organized by the Democratic Autonomous Administration in the Jazira region to discuss ways to develop the region through community participation.

 Parents' evaluation of the workshops

 Regarding the importance of holding workshops during this period, the citizen, Anas Mulla Abdul Rahman, saw that it is a good step to determine the projects for the next year, he said, "People must also support the administration to set the priorities for the year 2023 well.

 "It is necessary to support agricultural production," Abdul Rahman stressed.

 As for the citizen Ahmed Mahdi, he stressed "the necessity of finding solutions to all the basic problems and demands of the people of the region."

 Determine the budget

 Commenting on this, the co-chair of the Executive Council of the Democratic Autonomous Administration in the Jazira region, Talaat Younis, stated that "the Autonomous Administration, provides everything necessary with its simple capabilities to provide basic services to the people and that the meetings that are held recently are a system that the administration has relied on since the beginning of its establishment in order to set priorities for the annual plans.

 He noted the objectives of the workshops held by the Democratic Autonomous Administration in the Jazira region with the people, "These workshops were part of programs to set priorities for the 2023 budget, provided that the administration's institutions begin implementing these plans at the beginning of the year," adding, "One of the objectives of these workshops is also to explain the extent of  the possibility of administration and the principles on which it relies are for the people, specialists, civil society institutions, clan notables and political parties.

 Based on the suggestions of the parents

 He emphasized that "all of these meetings, opinions and proposals were evaluated to be a database to determine plans and programs for the year 2023."

 Referring to the difficulties facing the Autonomous Administration in terms of service, he explained, "The capabilities of the Autonomous Administration may be insufficient to meet all the needs of the people."

He added, "Our regions were completely marginalized under the Baathist regime."

 Noting that all these economic conditions affect the service situation and the general situation in the region, "therefore, the AA is trying with all its capabilities to secure the basic needs in stages."

 The most important projects for the year 2023

 Regarding the recent results reached by the Democratic Autonomous Administration in the Jazira , he said, "The database focused on several basic aspects, which is the water problem that constitutes a real crisis in the Jazira region,  After the Turkish state cut off its water. This problem is one of the priorities of our projects for the year 2023, and a block of the budget has been allocated to solve this problem.

 He continued, "Supporting and developing the agricultural sector, so the administration has taken some steps and measures in its plan for the year 2023 to support this sector with some projects, support alternative energy, and support the health and education sector according to priorities and capabilities. We will also go to support small projects."

 The co-chair of the Democratic Autonomous Administration in the Jazira region, Talaat Younis, concluded his speech by affirming that "the administration is in a state of permanent development and progress according to the capabilities, to face all the challenges it faces and to provide the best services to the people."
