PYD offers condolences to people of Kurdistan in Bashur

The General Council of the Democratic Union Party (PYD) issued a statement, in which it condoled the people of Sulaymaniyah and the families of the victims over a gas explosion near a residential complex, last Thursday night, hoping for the wounded a speedy recovery and success in the efforts made to rescue those trapped under the rubble.

The text of the statement stated:

"We received with great sadness and sorrow the news of the death of 11 people so far, and more than twenty wounded of our Kurdish people in Kurdistan in the city of Sulaymaniyah yesterday, Thursday, November 17, as a result of a gas tank explosion near the "Kawiza" apartment complex, which led to the collapse of three houses in the area.

We are in the General Council of the Democratic Union Party (PYD), we extend our deepest condolences to the regional government and the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan in general and the families of the victims in particular, wishing the wounded a speedy recovery and success in the efforts made to rescue those trapped under the rubble.
